ASHA First is a mobile and web-based payment platform developed by CDFI in collaboration with NHM Meghalaya, integrated with PFMS. It streamlines the full claim and approval process for ASHA incentive payments, ensuring workers are paid accurately, on time, and with complete visibility at every step.

Initial problem

The Challenge

ASHA workers across Meghalaya were waiting up to 120 days to receive their incentive payments, with no way to track where their claims stood. Manual processes and fragmented workflows meant delays were the norm. CDFI built ASHA First to change that.
