Digitising rural progress across 500+ villages in Meghalaya through a real-time MIS platform

Meg-LIFE Project: MIS Solution

CDFI developed a customised Management Information System (MIS) for the Meghalaya Basin Development Authority (MBDA) under the JICA-funded Meg-LIFE project. The MIS helps track and manage progress under community-based forest management and rural livelihood projects. It integrates a mobile data collection app with a centralised analytics system, enabling real-time visibility into activities, fund utilisation, and institutional strengthening across the state.

Meg-LIFE Project: MIS Solution

CDFI developed a robust, user-friendly MIS platform to monitor and manage the Meg-LIFE project across rural Meghalaya. By combining a mobile data collection app with an integrated analytics engine, the system tracks both physical and financial progress of initiatives in forest management, infrastructure, livelihoods, and institutional development. The solution enables greater transparency, quicker field-to-desk visibility, and data-driven governance.
